Why is gas rising?

Let's kill the Republican trope that Obama has killed drilling. Exhibit A:

The reality is that oil is increasing because demand is increasing at a pace far faster than we can produce it. That and speculation because of the uncertainty in the Middle East is the reason gas is more expensive.
Whatever appears to be against the Book of Mormon is going to be overturned at some time in the future. So we can be pretty open minded.-charity 3/7/07
