Helen Radkey - Mormon Slayer

I want Jews and Mormons to know that Rabbi Marvin Hier and Rabbi Abraham Cooper have been paying an anti-Mormon (and ex-Mormon) researcher for years to dig up names of Jews that errant members have submitted for temple ordinances. Helen Radkey tried at first to provoke the Catholic Church into denouncing the Mormon Church by offering it names of prominent Catholics who had had ordinances performed for them. [She also tried to blackmail the LDS Church into paying her $30,000 + expenses to go away, but I digress]. The Catholics told her to go get a life, so she offered her services to the good rabbis at SWC, who were happy to pay her fee.

Last week the rabbis’ mercenary hit pay dirt. I imagine many of you have followed the rest of the story. My concern for this story rests at the bottom of the article that gives a background for the author. It says, Mark Paredes blogs for the Jewish Journal, the Deseret News, and Meridian Magazine. He will be leading a tour to Israel for Morris Murdock Travel next spring. Hope this is not simply reporting borne out of entrepreneurcraft.

Moksha, as you know, I am an ardent supporter of Dr. Daniel C. Peterson. In as much as this Mark Paredes offers a similar holy lands tour to that of Dr. Peterson, I fear that any positive interpretation of his story would pose competition to the tour hosted by Dr. Peterson. To that end, I must oppose his position. I feel that Dr. Peterson offers the world's only true tour of the holy lands. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
