Please use your systematic theology to pick the right answer to what IS the only gospel Jesus Christ will own as his.
1. Repent of your sins by confessing them to the bishop (or missionary interviewer) and vow to sustain LDS leaders and paying a full and honest tithe and receive the ordinances of baptism and the laying on of hands. That's it, you are on you way, all the doors will remain open to you so long as you maintain this commitment.
2. Come unto Christ with full purpose of heart, laying down your advantages in this world to submit wholly to the will of the Father in all things by taking upon you the name of Jesus Christ, acting no hypocrisy, taking no thought for your life, and continue with one accord fasting and praying until you are visited with the promise of the Father even the baptism of fire and of the Holy Ghost.
NOTE: To do according to that which is written in the Book of Mormon and get the church out from under its official, never rescinded condemnation, you must see to it like they saw to it.
Moroni 6: 4, 7
4 And after they had been received unto baptism, and were wrought upon and cleansed by the power of the Holy Ghost, they were numbered among the people of the church of Christ; and their names were taken, that they might be remembered and nourished by the good word of God, to keep them in the right way, to keep them continually watchful unto prayer, relying alone upon the merits of Christ, who was the author and the finisher of their faith.It could happen before as with the Lamanites who did not even realize what was happening to them or after baptism. But happen it MUST!
