And the tininess of old white guys may also be behind the hideous, sickening anti-women, anti-sex crusade against contraception we see going on. Rush Limbaugh and the Pope must be in competition for the tiniest of all.

If the shoe fits... but that brings up another old wives' tales about relationship between the size of a man's foot and... ahem... nevermind...

Man will always find a way to hoard power. The LDS church is not unique.

Oh for shame, how the mortals put the blame on us gods, for they say evils come from us, but it is they, rather, who by their own recklessness win sorrow beyond what is given... Zeus (1178 BC)

Yahoo Bot wrote:I don't think I've really concentrated on this statement before. Open speculation in an official pronouncement that doesn't really take a position.

Hey, Dude, your opening post is laughter in a can. You have no standing to demand the church you betrayed and left produce a prophet. Which you now traduce, including living persons, anonymously.

Yahoo Bot wrote:And he, and you, do so anonymously. I mean, you all ridicule the young elders who make fun of Catholicism, Buddha and the like and are disrespectful.

As long as Yahoo Bot continues to accuse Posters that he does not like as "anonymous" here, I am going to keep Posting this sexist statement that he made over two and a half years ago here.
Here it is again:

Plural marriage is an eternal principle. It is founded on the notion that there will be far fewer men who will accept the atoning sacrifice than women. It has to do, somehow, with the struggle in the Garden of Eden, the choice Eve made, and the promise that she would be saved in childbearing. I don't get it all, but the fact that women are more spiritual and willing to accept the spirit is a fact.

Notice the statement does not even mention "curse of Cain" but says that some have "speculated" as to why blacks were banned, but this "speculation was never doctrine".

Well...for 130 years...Mormon leaders called it "a doctrine of the Church".

LDS Public Affairs know that. They are LYING. Simple as that.

I'd love to know what the everyday average member is thinking of the statements.
