Thanks for reiterating, as the Church has recently done, the truism that BYU professors are not reliable sources of information.

As the fat, depressed con man and wife-beater that statistics suggest you probably are, I can understand why it is difficult for you to see hurtful things said about your cherished beliefs. Maybe one day you can list the lies I have supposedly told about the Church. Since, as you have often stated, court consists of message board posts and the Socratic method, you can contrast that with the free marketplace of ideas---you know, that euphemism for a Ponzi scheme that Mormons are likely to be involved in as either victims or perpetrators.

Some apparently are. A number are likely not to be. But, as you have yet do demonstrate the slightest empirical evidence of your deep certitude here, you may just keep splashing in the pool as long as you like.

Statistically, you as a contemporary Mormon are statistically likely to be either a gullible dupe or a con man.

I'm 14% more likely to be the victim of fraud than if I wasn't a Mormon. But, I don't live in Utah, which was the only place this appears to be relevant. And even if so...14% more likely. Still, that makes if very unlikely I will be a victim of affinity fraud much above the general population.

(Note for Blixa and other viewers: Yes, I am just making a point about Droopy's special pleading in the use of statistics to create stereotypes, and no, I do not expect him to get it.)

They're not my statistics. They're well known empirical numbers from numerous polls and empirical data collected by state and federal government agencies. The violent crime statistics are well and long known, and are from the FBI's database of Uniform Crime Reports, which tracks crime on a national and regional basis according to age, race, ethnicity, religion etc.

The ADL has a good background of information on the disproportionate presence of anti-Jewish and anti-Israel sentiment among American blacks collectively speaking.

Polls come from various sources, including RAND, CBS news, and other similar sources. I would read McWhorter's book for a thorough analysis of the problem of anti-intellectualism, poor school performance, and resistance to education as "acting white."

It seems like that makes you sad, Droopy. If you don't already have a prescription for antidepressants, as Mormons are statistically likely to have, than I'm sure you can at least find solace in donuts and ice cream, like so many of your fellow Mormons do. That is, unless another Mormon has cheated them out of their sugary treats with some kind of Ponzi scheme.

Does it hurt your feelings when people say mean things about Mormons? I'm sure that any descendants of Cain who see your comments are not troubled by them, particularly since statistics suggest they probably can't read, anyway. Single parents---who are likely to be irresponsible and incompetent---don't mind what Mitt Romney says about the threat they pose to society, either.

P.S. I've often wondered which Star Wars character best exemplifies contemporary Mormon culture, as defined by statistics. Given his girth, criminal activities, and violence against females (feeding that green girl to the Rancor and enslaving Princess Leia), I think I'm going to have to go with Jabba the Hutt.
