What a load of crap.

Of course. People who disagree with you are either evil or stupid. There can be no other explanation.
No, I'm talking about the motives of the Utah legislature regarding this bill. That is why I quoted your wondering whether their intentions were nefarious.

If democrats, which I'm assuming you are, were so concerned about this vicious republican onslaught, why didn't they reverse/repeal all the damage the repubs had done when the Democrats held the white house, both houses of congress, and most state houses and governorships?
Then the glorious state of abortions for all, dead children everywhere can be realized yet again.
You sicken me. Equating women's rights to dead children.

Thanks, Hoops.
I suggested that evolution, diversity, and sex education are "so-called 'liberal' ideas." How is that saying (or implying) that it's "just conservatives who appeal to local control to craft the school districts they want"?
I'll make my assertion again. In the US, the tendency is to go for local control when it's perceived the national agenda is against you. Regardless of politics. This plays out all the time in educational policy.

To make your point more clear you might have cited an example from the other side as well. The subject of this particular thread would be a good one.

I can live with that, and I stand corrected. Thank you.
