And how is this bishop a wacko? He called her to invite her back into the fold, nothing more.

This reminds me of your other arguments. It's like you ignore what ever you want. Does her story limit his call to just inviting her back to church. I don't necessarily believe what she says( I agree that both seem to have major problems), but her story is certainly more then just him calling to invite her back to church. You really are so biased when it comes to LDS issues.

Here in this story we have a former bishop who knew her. With the press attention she got and the negative press that the LDS church got, he called her to express his concern and to invite her back to the fold. And what did she do? Exploit the issue by going into the past and claiming some sort of harassment. (right on cue for more press attention) And the former bishop? His mistake was showing concern. And with this phone call, we only have her side of the story.

And thank God you are able to divine his side of the story.

Irrelevant to my post. Your extreme bias is causing you to miss what you don't want to see. Her story is obviously more then him just calling to invite her back. Much more, yet you ignore it to attack her, and then try to make him look good. We don't know if the story is accurate, but it's interesting yet again that you attack those you think are critical of the church in any way and defend those you think are defending it. Try being more open minded and objective.

First Helen went to the catholics to rile them up about Mormons baptizing saints. The catholics weren't interested. So, she went to the jews about Mormons baptizing holocaust victims. And she got a nibble from some jewish groups. However, the jews have known about this for years. So, most of the jewish groups did not show much interest. But she did get publicity. Now that a bishop called her to show concern, she went immediately to the press to get more publicity. The former bishop made a mistake in contacting such a person who is now playing the victim card. But really, very few are listening, nor do they care.

I think that it is against board policy to change someone's post as you did. The mods should give you some lip about it.

LOL Irrelevant to my point, which is about your extreme bias with LDS issues. You keep ignoring it and only continue to attack her and defend the bishop, as though you know what his intentions are. She certainly brought up more then him calling to invite her back to church, yet you continue to avoid admitting you are wrong. Your bias is the problem here, not her and her kookiness.

It doesn't take an Einstein to figure out her attentions. It is there for all to see. I can also reverse it on to you. Do you know the intentions of the former bishop? He seems to fit a former bishop to a tee: showing concern for one of his former flock.
