Will someone help me figure out pinterest?

Hi folks,

I signed up for pinterest, but I can't figure out how it works.

If I see a funny picture on, say, Facebook, how to I "pin" it to pinterest?

Pinterest totally owns me. I'm on it right now.

Try this....log in and look at the upper right of the screen.

See the Add? That might be the button you need. If you click on "Add" you will see a way "add a pin" and to "upload a pin".

I haven't tried to pin images from Facebook, so I'm just guessing.

Also this...when you say you signed up, did they give you an invitation in your email? Just making sure because nothing will work if you don't have an active account.

Just at the outside chance that you didn't do it. You have to download the application.

Okay, I think I see how it works now. Yes, I have activated it successfully.

Thank you, Jersey Girl! I guess the trick is to always keep a browser tab or window open with pinterest loaded into it so that if you see a picture you like you can paste the URL into the "Add" dialogue.
