I don't get it
If the 2nd Article of Faith is true, then how can anyone justify excluding any group from full participation in the church?
Isn't that a contradiction at the most basic level?
Isn't that a contradiction at the most basic level?
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

Amen, sister!

The only similarity is the suffering of the Jews after Christ's crucifixion. But, the Jews named their own fate. "Let his blood be upon us, and our children."

Of course. But Mormonism is riddled with contradictions.

Such a thing doesn't make me feel that the Brethren know much of anything. That it's all just accepting tradition, without ever actually putting their brain in gear.

You mean women? I don't recall that Jesus called any women to the Twelve, the Seventy or that there were any female bishops.
You mean races? The church excludes nobody.

So you can be punished for your parents sins if your parents volunteer you? If that were the case the second article of faith should be "We believe men will be punished for their own sins, unless their parents explicitly state that they can be."

No, because no group has ever been denied the full blessings of salvation in LDS doctrine and no one, black or white has ever been punished for other than their own sins in that same doctrine. Notice that the context is the Judgement.
