Your comparison is flawed.
I intend to lay a foundation that will revolutionize the whole world. Joseph Smith We are “to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to provide for the widow, to dry up the tear of the orphan, to comfort the afflicted, whether in this church, or in any other, or in no church at all…” Joseph Smith

It's nothing more than obedience.
Women don't want it because they see just what the responsibility the men have and they don't want it.Can you blame them?

If the church offered the priesthood to women on a volunteer basis I'm certain there would be a lot of women who would take it.

So women are too lazy? Or are they afraid they're not virtuous enough? Or maybe they don't think they're smart enough? Some combination of the above? What do ya think?
Edited to improve the tone.

I felt weird asking DD if she wanted the Priesthood.
my wife objected lightly to my implication of passing Priesthood to DD.
DD thought it an odd question.
My 6-yr old son had no problem at all with my question.

That is a complete load. They know that good Mormon girls are not supposed to want what they are not allowed to have.

Everyone knows it's not but you. I have seen very few arguments you put forth that are not usually BS. Just becuase Muslim women give into more crap the LDS ones does not make it flawed. Do more then say flawed. Try making an argument for once
