Democrat Obama Cultists Desacrate the American Flag

Did you think the Democratic/Leftist cult of messianic personality centered in Barack Obama had faded over the last three years or so since the election? Not a chance of that. In a ferociously confrontational act of ideological warfare aimed at America qua America, and at any and all non-leftist Democratic voters who do not approach Barack Obama with the feelings and sensitivities akin to the cult of Emperor worship in ancient Rome, Democrats in Lakeland Florida. (close to where I used to live) have literally desecrated the American flag by putting the Son of Heaven's face on it as if Obama was, not just President of the United States, but the embodiment of America as a nation and as a people; the embodiment of the will and aspirations of the American people as an organic collective. Fascism, anyone?

The historically literate vets here have hit it on the head with appreciable clarity.

Yet more evidence that the Democrat party is a post-American party, and its President the first post-American President. The fundamental basis of the Democrat party's ideology and policy prescriptions is not American or classical liberal, but Franco-Germanic in nature, centered in continental philosophy and political ideology, infused with American 1930s progressivism, inflamed by 1960s New Left radicalism, and bathed in utter power madness rarely seen in America in the 20th century. It is no longer a party of American ideals or values, or of the central ideas of the English and American philosophers that led the classical liberal revolution originally in the 18th century.

The flag could use some desecration from time to time.

Since the Constitution is just a god damn piece of paper, isn't the flag then just a god damn piece of cloth?

Seriously, I understand the values that it is supposed to represent and I find the real desecration of it in the reckless use of our military. Our brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers, etc have been sent to die in third world countries for the sake of paranoia and war profiteering for decades.

In light of that, it really is just a god damn piece of cloth.

There are far worse things to be upset over. Be thankful you weren't born on the wrong side of an American military action designed to "bring you democracy". Be even more thankful that you weren't born on the wrong side (or the "right" side) of an actual brutal dictatorship or genocide.

Oh, the people around me and their first world problems. Somehow I don't feel as sorry for them as they feel for themselves.

I wonder is it still the US Flag if the stars are replaced and a picture put in the square spot? Does the US have a patent on the general design of 13 white and red stripes with a blue square in the top corner? If not the Obama face flag is an entirely new flag design and not desecration.
