Yet more evidence that the Democrat party is a post-American party, and its President the first post-American President. The fundamental basis of the Democrat party's ideology and policy prescriptions is not American or classical liberal, but Franco-Germanic in nature, centered in continental philosophy and political ideology, infused with American 1930s progressivism, inflamed by 1960s New Left radicalism, and bathed in utter power madness rarely seen in America in the 20th century. It is no longer a party of American ideals or values, or of the central ideas of the English and American philosophers that led the classical liberal revolution originally in the 18th century.
