I'd speculate that, at times, your dear wife sees you as both her greatest blessing and her biggest burden.

All wives see our husbands that way.

OK...I'll say it. I want it. Not only do I think that women should have it, but I think that the Church would greatly benefit from female leaders. Compare Relief Society to Priesthood. Which organization is consistently more organized? Our Visiting Teaching numbers consistently trounce Home Teaching numbers. Our lessons are more organized. Our Primary, run by women, runs like a well-oiled machine.

Female bishops would be outstanding counselors.

If the Church really wants to see things get done, put the women in charge.

I'm trying to come up with some institution (or portion thereof) that hasn't been improved by admitting women. Perhaps someone can help me out on this conundrum?

Fascinating, Liz!

Regrettably, my knee jerk reaction to your post was, "But this would cause the men of the church to fall back into laziness! The men would go inactive and the church would become a female dominated religion!"

What I see in the secular world is something different! Do you see men getting more lazy because women are given more opportunities? No!

OMG!

So, zeezrom, what would you have done if your daughter had replied with an exuberant "Yes!"?
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

If women held the priesthood I might go back to church. I'd never have to do nothing ever again!

I would lay my hands on her head and ordain her a deacon.

Why did you feel weird? Could it be because it was weird? Why would your daughter think it odd? Could it be that it was odd? As you can see zee, no one here really cared about what you did on this trhead. But they did egg you on. But I gave you good advice for the future: leave them in peace about such things.

Why Me,

Or maybe it really wasn't weird.
