I joined a Yahoo list about three years ago, maybe two, in the midst of a fierce battle between three or four fellows and Lou. A few days or maybe weeks later Lou was kicked off. I didn't follow the dispute and didn't care, but when I started haranguing Will Bagley over his various MMM errors Lou's enemies turned to me. I didn't really post much. I was there to correspond with Will only.

What I'm hearing is that, after Louis "Woody" Midgley got kicked off, you magically began making more or less the exact same attacks on Bagley.
Is that about right? (Ahem, Mr. Stak?)

I don't know what subjects Lou was posting on except it wasn't MMM. I had been on that same list around 2003 and had nearly identical exchanges with Will when his entourage (I am assuming Stak is in it) wasn't there.
I thought they were being mean to Lou, but whom am I to judge.
As you recall, I was kicked off a different list for being critical of the Palmer reviews.

You've confused me with somebody else. Midgley is no friend of mine, nor enemy. I'd like to say he isn't even an acquaintance but I have interviewed him over an episode that occurred in the 1960s involving my grandfather. I don't run in his circle and outside of that sole interview, have never spoken with him.

It's kind of an existentialist experience to see Yahoo Bot, in a single paragraph, compare people to college nerds while noting the infighting between faithful Mormons about the hypothetical location of 2,600 years (or so) of Jaredite and Nephite civilizations.

Not quite. I don't think Book of Mormon students should advocate one way or the other for a particular geographic location for the Book of Mormon. Thomas Stuart Ferguson proved how futile that would be.
