I don't think I've seen this version.
Did you see the earlier version, with Raquel Welch as Lilly Lust, and Peter Cooke as Satan? It was GOOD!

Sexual desire was not known until after Satan successfully beguiled Eve to eat the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Gender, however, predated that, according to Genesis. Before being so beguiled, Adam was a man and Eve was a woman. Naked as they were, they just did not have sexual desire for one another.

Actually, that is according to the Mormon interpretation.

I've heard that, but I've not actually seen it. What's your source? Looking at the doctrine, I suppose one could concoct a blood pressure hypothesis but it wouldn't be doctrine. And who says whatever was flowing in the veins developed no pressure?

I hope to take a more positive spin from all this obsessive compulsive posting I do on the subject.

I don't want to dismiss religion for what I consider to be shortcomings. I want to dream up my own version of religion. While I'm sure others have gone this very same route before me, I would like to feel that it is *my* route.

Oh, and I'll have to ask my wife if she still dreams about nursing. :)

Actually, that is according to the Mormon interpretation. Is there anything in the actual Bible that states that Adam and Eve did not "know" each other before the fall? It is true that Eve didn't become pregnant until afterward, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they didn't have sex. What the Bible says is that they were not ashamed of their nakedness until after the fall.

Guiltless sex? Count me in.
