When Bott is teaching investigators will he have to precede the lesson with a verbal disclaimer explaining that his words don't necessarily reflect the official position of the Church and may indeed be his own personal opinion and speculation?

Naw, they'll probably stuff him into some small town where he will spend countless hours pouring over county records looking for necrotic dunking opportunities.

I think this line from the article might have been better researched.


The church has never released anything doctrinal as to why black men could not hold the priesthood before 1978.


Maybe they were anonymously quoting bcspace.
