Fixed it. bcspace was the one saying the people upset about the shooting of an innocent black kid by a guy who called him a "damned coon" are racists for calling for further investigation than just letting the guy completely off the hook without even an arrest based solely on the guy's statement that he ran down the street after the unarmed kid and shot him in "self defense." You were the one saying a whole bunch of other unrelated irrelevant nonsense.

Where in the hell did you get that from? I am proposing that a man who shot and killed someone under extremely suspicious circumstances be arrested and, if there is sufficient evidence, he be charged with a crime and tried.

The Constitution does not prevent me or anyone else from looking at a set of facts and forming judgments about those facts. It's a free country. The fact that you could care less about racially motivated crimes committed is not something to brag about. It is not racist to want to see an end to racially motivated crimes. It is not racist to want to see what appears to be a crime that may have been at least partially motivated by racial animus investigated. If a person commits a crime against another person because of that person's race, the person committing the crime is the racist, not the people who call for the perpetrator's criminal act to be investigated.

On a tape of one of Zimmerman's 911 calls the night of the shooting, he is heard saying under his breath what sounds like "f**ing coons." Seconds later he confronted Martin and after a brief scuffle shot him dead.
If I am not mistaken, I have read the the shooter was hispanic. Racism is not just white/black. It crosses racial lines and is part and parcel of american life.
