Back in the early 1980s, an "informant" said that the Senior Apostles got over 70K a year and junior apotles about 40 to 50K; in early 1980s dollars. The President of the Church got over 100K. This is not counting the "fees" and "bonuses" they receive from being on Boards of Directors of Church Owned Businesses. They attend one meeting every Quarter, and get hundreds of thousands of dollars a year for it.
The Seventies get good salaries, not living expenses, but good salaries. Also, there are many managers and assistants at the COB who also get salaries; some good, some ok, some low; depending upon their education, job, years on the job, and gender.
Also, the wives of General Authorities are also part-owners of for-profit construction companies that the Church uses to build chapels and temples and 5-billion dollar Malls. They get the profits. Who paid for the Malls and chapels and temples. YOU DID....fool!

I was under the impression though that at least some Area Authorities, MPs, and General Authorities got living allowances or stipends. Am I wrong on this? Do we know if anyone is paid anything? Are there any credible sources that talk about this?
Thanks in advance.
