In Mormonism "doctrine" while yes can be things taught, it is actually in fact "pronounced truth as revealed by God to the Church", which comes from the scriptures and official revelations to the Prophets.

Us getting our own Planets is not found in the scriptures nor official revelations, thus it's NOT DOCTRINE.

This idea is what is Doctrine within ANY religion.
If fact, religious anti-mormons condemn us for that very thing, beliefs of ours that AREN'T FOUND IN THE Bible!!!

It is a simple fact that Man is not God and can never be God. And to aspire to as much is blasphemy and false doctrine. I would liken such Mormons to being more like Lucifer and his aspirations to be God in the war in heaven. They are seeking things they should not and committing a great sin.

It's not *my* definition, it is the dictionary definition. That means it is the one agreed upon by the people who use the language. Mormons seem to enjoy making up their own definitions to words, but that is not how honest communication works.

Nope..... That definition is how "some" organizations define doctrine. But it's not how Mormonism nor most other religions define it.

As I've said, Christian anti-mormons condemn us for having teachings not found in the Bible according to their view, thus even they define doctrine as that which is found in scripture.

What is taught is only ONE definition of the word, not the only one. That makes you not being honest.
