Maybe an alternative form of punishment could be applied. She could be unbanned but required to read and respond to every post by Whyme or LDSFAQS  .

Are you suggesting that we periodically hold a lottery where the winner is permanently banned? At very least it would be entertaining.

Follow-up question: who here has seen The Deer Hunter?

Yes. I know where you're going and I like it. A polish wedding! Smashing idea.

That wedding scene was one of the most disturbing and emotionally exhausting scenes in American cinema.

another mighty gesture of scarifice by Darth J. I would like to also put myself out offer this boycott threat: either Jersey Girl gets unbanned, or Will Shryvierererererer must lose posting priviledges

If you haven't figured it out, you're driving away any contrary opinions. That may be your objective and that's perfectly fine. It's your board. But any pious favorable comparisons to madb have now been rendered moot.

I happened to be on that thread when this happened, though I am sure I don't know all the facts. But I do know Jersey Girl fairly well, at least enough to evaluate her character sufficiently to satisfy me. I will not maintain a presence here if Jersey Girl is permanently banned. You can have your sycophantic back slapping.

I guess there's a silver lining to every cloud.

Bring Jersey Girl back.

Now.

She has been here from the start.

From what I here she did not get the board shut down nor carry through with her threat of legal action or whatever it was she was upset about.

Really bring her back.

And we cannot afford to lose hoops as well.
