Is ldsfaqs For Real?

Post by _Nomomo »

Haven't read a large number of ldsfaq's posts, but all I have read seem too over the top to be for real. Anyone else suspect he may be a Troll having a lark?

In the guise of LeeUniverse, he has fought for LDS truth, justice and might for many years. How would that make him a troll? Just because one hangs out under a bridge and turns to stone when exposed to sunlight is far from adequate proof.

I'll only believe it when he puts up a toll (troll) booth.

You haven't spent enough time with the fine folk over at MD&D if you think ldsfags is over the top.

ldsfaqs becomes real only in his absence. Which occurs right after you ask him a question.

I think he's real. There are plenty of people who are just as crazy at MAD.

Yep, I'm absolutely "real".....

I converted to the Church after being in many religions and seeing how none actually fit what the Bible said in full or accurately. In my late teens early 20's I was big into studying Eastern Philosophy's, I then became anti-mormon and anti-religion. My anti-mormon views were primarily based on what I call the "big three" Polygamy, Blacks & the Priesthood, and Women in the Priesthood.

Very quickly I realized how "wrong" it was to be "anti" the very things I wanted to understand most, i.e truth, right, God if there was one, etc. A person can't understand something their cup is already full of contempt for. This occurred at a many hours night long argument with a friend High Priest in my Ward.

I then lived my life. Eventually (couple of years) I became ready and interested in studying religion again, started with the D&C, believed no man and no evil wrote the book and revelations therein, of course, I was only interested in facts, not feelings. I then spent weeks at the library studying various religions, again eliminating them as at all possibly being true. I then studied anti-mormonism side by side with LDS scholarship. Witnessed over and over how anti-mormonism in every issue over and over only used a little truth to lie, while LDS scholarship told the full facts and truth, coming up with the actual truthful conclusions. Then studied my big three issues, history, scriptures, scholarship etc. and came to understand the full truth on them, and a more wiser understanding, and then the Spirit of God hit me like a wall, as if new brain cells and pathways were created, and from that moment on for some 18 years I've known the Church is literally true, not another man made religion, and it's only being proven every day by the facts and full truth.

I still study other religions, still study anti-mormonism, and nothing else is even close to being true. Anti-mormonism for example simply regurgitates the same ignorant lies it always had for the last 200 years, while the Church is being proven true daily by the latest scholarship. And that scholarship and evidences have well over tripled in just the last 20 years. Even back then, when I actually really studied, I thought to myself how amazingly so much evidences there were, and how no REAL "objective" person could deny the truth of it all. Let alone today, there is really no excuse for peoples blatant and childish ignorance and contempt.

Everything I say is the absolute truth. I give no opinion. I say nothing unless I've fully and from all sides studied the issue, getting at the actual and whole truth.

All hail the infallible man! You must be right behind Joseph Smith on the next to Jesus scale.

I never said I was "infallible"..... I have my sins and weaknesses. I just happen to know what they are and aren't. I also know to not open my mouth unless I'm telling the absolute truth on an issue or claim. Not my problem if you don't have the same standards.

You also misrepresent and lie about Joseph Smith. He also knew his weaknesses, but he also knew what he knew concerning God. Call us arrogant if you want, but it's simply the truth.

infallible: incapable of error or fallacy.
Everything I say is the absolute truth. I give no opinion. I say nothing unless I've fully and from all sides studied the issue, getting at the actual and whole truth.

? Holds the keys of this the last, great dispensation.

Joseph Smith, the Prophet and Seer of the Lord, has done more, save Jesus only, for the salvation of men in this world, than any other man that ever lived in it.

So it goes from God, to Jesus, to Joseph, to Ldsfaqs.

Call us arrogant if you want, but it's simply the truth.

Look where you included yourself, in the we, as in you and Joseph.
