Taxes are lower under Obama than they were under Reagan. Obama is just a second class Marxist I guess.
by the way for my own curiosity:
What did Marx have to say about Capitalism?

He's going to make us give up Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam and Saturday Night Live? It was bad enough when we lost the Phillipines and the Smithsonian ended up with 3000 pairs of Emelda's old shoes. Good thing we put them behind that glowing crate.
Obama will have to pry my cold dead fingers off the two liter bottle of Royal Crown Cola!!!

Oh my God. Talk about bullcrap drama. Nothing I said crosses any lines. I can list dozens of posts made on that board that make my comments seem like child's play.
It simply amazes me how dramatic you folks can make things seem.

I think you should be allowed to make your bigoted comments. Nonetheless, the kind of thing you said has now entered our common culture as a shameful thing to say, like speculating that blacks aren't smart enough to play QB. It's no longer Ok to say that in decent public without chancing receiving embarrassment and scorn from others. Some moderators there now seem sensitive to that image.

I agree completely. Heck, as I said, several leading light posters there have trumped the "work" of Paul Cameron and Judith Reisman, which is as bad - actually worse - that anything you said. It's just more obscure. I was pointing out that curiosity about how the lines get drawn.
Ldsfaqs, about 30% of Republican primary voters in Mississippi this cycle said they think interracial marriage should be illegal. And that's just the number of those who would admit to having that view to someone taking a survey. Only 1/2 agreed that it should be legal.
Obviously this is just a token example of how race isn't utterly insignificant to people who self-identify as conservative (see survey for conservative ident), but your statement is just laughably false. Not all conservative are living in a colorblind utopia.
Race still matters, and matters a lot, to American life. It shouldn't, but it does. Heck our criminal justice system - and the drug war in particular - is set up in such a way that racial minorities are, without legitimate basis, systematically policed, prosecuted, tried, and sentenced differently than others in such a way that is utterly devastating to their communities.

Your using bigot without really understanding what it is.
Today it is cheap trick to force people to ignore the elephant in the room. Homosexuality has been given a special pass to be untouchable. No one can question what it is, where it came from, or any potential detriment to society it may cause, because any opinion other than the agenda's opinion has been labeled with emotional rhetoric.
The reality is you are far more bigoted, as you are by the definition, intolerant of competing believes or ideas.
