Easter!

Post by _Ceeboo »

Dear MDB members,

No matter what Easter means to you, who you will be sharing it with, or how you will be spending/celebrating it, it is my hope that you all find this Easter to be one that is sorrounded with loved ones, peace, and laughter. Far too often, in my opinion, it is the precious and somewhat rare opportunites that we human beings have (at times like this) to gather with one another that are taken for granted and/or are sometimes slightly overlooked.

In short, No matter where you are on this planet, no matter what you happen to believe, and no matter what your individual plans happen to be, I would like to wish all of my MDB friends (Mormon, Ex-Mormon, Christian, Atheist, Agnostic, etc) a very HAPPY EASTER!

Sincerely,
Ceeboo

The ham is thawing out, the eggs are boiling even as we speak, the rolls are being mixed... and the dishwasher died.

Another holiday weekend at Mom's.

Happy Easter everyone!

Easter for us will be...

1. The Easter Bunny leaving presents for the kids in the early morning.

2. Church from 9-12...The Primary kids are singing for the Sacrament Meeting program. My son is one of the singers...I am playing the piano.

3. Coloring eggs and Easter egg hunt in the afternoon, along with Sunday lunch at Grandma's.

Happy Easter to all!

Thanks ceeboo. Back at you.

As for me, I still wonder what the Sunday after the full moon has to do with Jesus.

For Easter, Ms. Corpsegrinder and I are going to watch the original Wicker Man, the one with all the cool pagan folk songs in it.

Thankyou Ceeboo! Same to you.

As it were, the hoops clan just finished a fabulous weekend of 16 basketball games. In between, there was lots of laughter, two proud parents, and some exhausted hooplets. I recall, when one of the hooplets banged down a 3 ball from the corner, how blessed I am that my family loves each other, and that we all belong to The Author of Love. And it came about because Jesus is alive. Joy is hard to explain, but I expect you know, and many here know, exactly what I mean.

Thank you again, Brother Ceeboo.

Gin-filled Easter eggs and lots of tears over baby Jeebus.
