Why does this have to be so difficult? Mormonism is supposed to be about truth, let it come where it may. Nobody who spent a lifetime learning did not find themselves on the the wrong end of the truth often. That is what learning means.

Christ was not born from sex with Mary. That is not rational in a day that knows enough to realize God has options which could keep Mary a virgin and yet inseminate her to give birth to the Son of God. Until we learn the truth we are all dumb as Brigham.

Certainly nobody should believe that about Mary. Or think it of God.

By the way don't tou ever think it is a problem that apostles and prophets got so many things wrong, even if it was in an unofficial format. I don't think this helps your case in general.

So why would a male that has the ability to impregnate through copulation choose artificial insemination via the Unembodied One?

I would imagine that God would first seal himself to Mary in order to make things kosher with the other Mrs. Gods. Wonder how that sealing would have come into play when Joseph later married Mary, so she would not have the stigma of being a single mom?

Back in the day during my young adult days in Seattle Institute for LDS Young Adults the instructer bore solemn testimony that Heavenly Father came down from heaven and had holy sex with Mary. The whole room was in a hush during his testimony. He bore it as strong as he would bear his testimony that Jesus was the Savior or that Spencer W. Kimball was a true and living prophet. (The holy ghost was about like some kind of misty cloud too)

Welcome to the real world of Mormonism. Never mind what bcspace says. He doesn't really know Mormonism too well but lives in his own Mormon world apart from prophets who have said too much. Bruce R. McConkie and the old Paul O would have rebuked bcspace in the name of Jesus Christ and sought to get him OUT of the church for his evil speakings against the prophets. But times have changed.
