Josh, if atheism is a religion, then is theism?

And if so, can anyone who speaks for theists be considered a leader of all theists?

Fred Phelps is a theist. You're a theist. Does that make him your leader? Does that mean you align yourself with everything he stands for?

Everyone lacks faith in most of the religions that the world has to offer...we just go one religion further.

It's sort of like not being Russian. There are billions of us non-Russians in the world, some of us have a lot in common, others very little except for the fact that we don't happen to be Russian.

Some of us think about the fact that we aren't Russian quite a bit. For a few of us, not being Russian is a big part of our identities. A handful are quite outspoken about the fact that we are not Russian, and don't want to be Russian.

But the vast majority of us rarely give the slightest consideration to the fact that we don't happen to be Russian, and would not consider ourselves aligned with other non-Russians in any meaningful way.

However, according to Josh, we are all worshipers under dissident Chechen commander Khusayn Gakayev.

And did you not get your invite to their general conference? It happened in DC. It was called the "Reason Rally".

And their Prophet, seer, and general pig, Richard Dawkins made his imperial speech, rallying the troops to hate.

So...you're basically an ironic atheist missionary, right?

If atheism is a religion, why do the anti-atheists spend so much time mocking the atheist's beliefs, and poking fun at their leaders. If you spent as much time loving others as you do attacking atheists, you would be a much happier person.
