You are new here and since you are defending the LDS church, you should expect to get a very hard time from the professional critics on this board. They will not be too pleasant, usually mocking your posts, and harping abuse on your head. But welcome to fray...good luck.

What why me means is that we will be requiring you to support your nonsense with links, references, facts and evidence.

Nice to see you back Belmont.

I'm sure those starving African children will be overjoyed at the blessings being poured out on the residents of Salt Lake City.

References will not be enough to stem this crowd. Eventually the poor poster's opinions will be mock, her or his person dragged through the mud and tarred and feathered.

In keeping with the restoration of the Church, Tarring and feathering will only occur if you try to shag our daughters.

Or the starving people in many american cities who are stuggling to get by. But salt lake has a nice new mall which is providing jobs for the youth and the young adults and for the pensioners. And soon clinton kelly will be there to provide some fashion tips. Not bad. But yea, downtown newark, new jersey is much better to walk around and enjoy the good life.

It hasn't anything to do with that. It all has to do with the fact that the Mormon Cult considers itself the "One and only True Church on the face of the earth". It claims that it is lead by a Prophet of God.

No other entity would spend $5 billion dollars on a shopping mall. Not even the City of Salt Lake. No other city. Not in this economy - and not in this day of online shopping. I haven't been back into a mall nor bought much of anything from retailers. Why? I can buy it online, do instant comparison shopping - and find the best details - within minutes - and then have it shipped directly to me. And even with shipping, I saved time and money.

If Mormonism is true, and this God fellow REALLY runs his Church out of a small city in North America - then the real question is thus:

What does God need with a shopping mall?

This same God could be using $5 billion dollars on something other than high priced - up scale stores - and million dollar condos. This same God is also spending millions on law firms, real estate ventures, high priced art work, Hawaii condominiums and a very very large portfolio.

In terms of humanitarian aid - look at how much the Mormon God has given out in comparison.

It is very easy to see what Mormonism is all about. Wealth. I knew it as a Mormon and I know it as an Ex-Mormon.
