Re: Will Schryver's Benefactor
It would be extremely embarassing for everyone, were it to be found that Will's ancestry traces back to a widow who formed part of one of Monson's rounds...

I'm guessing Will's ancestry can be traced back to Joseph Smith, and on back to the Marquis de Sade and Caligula.

Is it time? Is there a need?
There can never be too much or too many on this many-splendored and inexhaustible theme.
Yes Dan, it seems the time has come, and a new need has been hinted to. Maybe you could shed some futher light and knowledge, if not here on your blog.

Re: Will Schryver's Benefactor
I wonder if anyone remembers a thread I posted some time ago--perhaps a year or two ago--in which I explained that Will was allegedly seen at a Maxwell Institute meeting at which Ugo Perego was also present.
Maybe I should try to find the link to that old thread?

Schryver showed up at last year's FAIR conference on Friday afternoon and was off in a corner talking to Perego all during Dan Peterson's talk. Then after his talk, Peterson joined the two of them and they were still talking together when I left at almost 6:00pm.

Oh yes, my friend. There is, and hopefully the Good Doctor (Scratch) will enlighten us all here.

Also, one thing I found strange is that I went to the restroom, which took me by where Schryver and Perego (and Schryver's wife) were sitting and talking. They were speaking in Italian. I thought that was a little weird, but maybe Schryver was just practicing his mission "tongue".

I remember giggling over that one.
But sorry, still confused about the Will connection.

Re: Will Schryver's Benefactor
If Schryver indeed has some benefactor one wonders why Will STILL hasn't been published when he himself was adamant he would be...
