All I have done is taken the information and quotes from the other thread and summed it up into a neat package because others seem to be in on something, without being direct, and I'm curious if it's true. If this is all a joke, based upon the fact that I'm directly quoting him, it is one that Schryver himself has made.
Though I'm no defender of Nibley, if this was all one big joke by Schryver in the context of a thread discussing a mysterious BYU meeting with a DNA expert, it was clearly in poor taste.

It is rather hard to believe. Then again, as people have pointed out, it would explain a great deal. Plus, as I recall---didn't Will appear on the scene just shortly after Nibley's death in 2005? Is the timing purely a coincidence, I wonder?
