Re: Is Schyver Nibley's Biological Son?
It would be very wrong not to believe Static when he assures Kishkumen that he is just this guy who has happened by, and a straight-up regular guy at that.
After all, if he was anyone we knew, operating through a sock puppet, he would just say so, right?
It's not as if anyone on this board has any experience of offended LDS contacting their employers, friends, or families. So why should anyone be worried?

That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.

Yeah, a guy who just "happened by" who also just happens to know the back story of years of what has been going on here on this message board. And who just happens to write a whole lot like either Daniel Peterson or William Schryver.
At first I thought "static" was Daniel Peterson rather than Will Schryver. Now I'm not so sure. All I'm sure of is that he just didn't "happen by" this place.
If it is Daniel Peterson, then it's pretty shocking that he is being such a shameless liar.

I'm sorry, Carton. I don't know any back story of this board, and I don't believe I've implied otherwise. In fact, I've said the opposite to Kishkumen, having admitted that I obviously don't understand the broader context of why outsiders are automatically looked upon with hyper-suspicion.
And who just happens to write a whole lot like either Daniel Peterson or William Schryver.
There are a finite number of ways in which to write, I think. You're bound to find two people with similar styles.

I did just "happen by", and I can demonstrate it. Please use Google Search with the following keywords: Nibley Biological Son. You see, I do like to read about past LDS scholars and leaders, and, having a lot of free time this week, was curious about the publicly available information about the Nibley family. That is neither here nor there, but it does show you how I came upon this club where outsiders are shunned.

OK, I believe you.
Do you know who the king is in Facsimile No. 3? What did Nibley say the name of the Egyptian king was? Please, tell.

Not sure it makes sense that Tabitha and static are the same person. If so, that person is "a house divided against itself".
I thought "Tabitha" is a not-so-transparent sock puppet for Doctor Scratch, and that "static" is a Daniel Peterson sock puppet. But I could be wrong on both socks. ;)

So do you emphatically deny that you are Daniel Peterson?

I was an "outsider" until a few months ago. I haven't been "shunned". In fact, except for some really hard core nut cases, this "club" is very welcoming to everyone.

Kevin, do you have reason to believe this otherwise crazy rumor actually might be true? Is there some evidence you are aware of that leads you to believe it might be true? If so, please share, if you can.

Forgive me my ignorance about this, but what are some of the known Schryver sock puppets? The only one I am aware of is the female poster (I forget the name now) that was attacking Runtu and was banned because of it. Remind me of that sock puppet name (if you can) and also (if you can) list some of the others too.
Thanks.
