Jeff K has been suspended MDDB, I believe this suspension comes only a month after he returned from a previous suspension.

So, while Jeff k knows for a divine fact that any and all who do not agree with him are enemies to LDS church and the greatest of all apostates, I say we open the door and set place for him.

In a statement aimed at this and the "Death penalty" thread; clearly this is a case for capitol banishment. Let him live and he will surely offend again. Send him immediately to purgatory/spirit prison/here.....er, what will keep him from similar offenses here/there? Hmm, do they/we have a death penalty also?

Edit/add, mercyngrace, as a newbe here, I'm not sure I have enough authority to offer a welcome to you.... nevertheless, I'm hoping to someday and will then....as I've always admired your mercy and grace over at MAD.

So instead of getting another MDDB reject here, we get another reasonable LDS apologistic woman to balance things out, welcome Cate

Life's full of little surprises. ;)

Thanks for putting out the welcome mat, HDE and Tana.

I find these threads so frustrating, because I can't even see comments on Mad, totally blocked! But Hi Mercyngrace! (waves).

This line makes me think of Johnny Carson (as Carnac) holding an envelope to his head saying "what four words will you never hear an LDS apostle or prophet say together?"

Sort of like Emma Smith starting the Relief Society, to help women and children struggling while their husbands were off chasing potential converts. Which left them vulnerable to polygyny (concubinage). See? You did make me think about a new point.

First, I want to join others on this thread welcoming Mercyngrace. It's a pleasure to see you here!

Second, I want to know why on earth you've been blocked from MAD, Mary. You are consistently reasonable and impeccably mannered. What happened?

I always admired your posting manner, and really wondered why you stayed there. Nice to interact with you on safe ground (although still ethereal)

Not sure KA, the last time I posted it was about the information on modern humans outside of Africa having up to 4% Neanderthal in them, whereas Modern Africans have 0%. I guess I was making the point in a round about manner that the doctrine of denying blacks the priesthood was farcical. Bill Hamblin was good humoured about it, but Pahoran and Calmoriah, more Pahoran I think, accused me of race-baiting. Bit ironic seeing how things have panned out in more recent times.

I have sent an email asking if I could observe conversations because I did actually learn a lot over there, and always appreciated the balance of arguments that used to exist in threads. No reply so far.. So I guess their mind is made up.

Either that or I'm just not clever/academic enough to add anything to the conversations.

Any reference to any event, writing, or concept in which it is necessary to refer to ethnic identity is 'race-baiting', so long as that reference is part of any argument that is unfavorable to some position held by Pahoran.
