The way he casually talks about huge sums of money shows he is really out of touch with the average american. I'm sure most parents would love to loan their kids money for school, but many don't have that kind of cash laying around. He may be surprised to learn that $20,000 is considered a lot of money to most people. I know it is only 5 digits, and it's not real money until you get to the 7 and 8 digit mark, but to most of us, tens of thousands of dollars isn't pocket change.

I don't understand why people vote for that type of person. At the end of they day what would Romney care if he passed legislation that screwed things up even more?

I don't know which group of people he is trying to reach.

Most LDS families cannot do this, let alone most american families.
