It's nice having why me on my ignore list because I have no idea as to the context of his statement.
But to answer your question, no, I didn't have a problem. When I was 22, it had been about 5 years since I had tampered with the little factory, and I was so naïve and afraid of lusting that I usually looked away, but if I didn't I'd feel terribly guilty about it. I was so inexperienced that on my honeymoon, I told my wife that her nether regions looked different from what I had expected. I know. TMI.
But, yes, I was a sheltered little Mormon boy afraid of doing anything even remotely wrong.
TMI? I'm not sure, to me TMI crosses a line from "I wouldn't admit/say that about myself" over to "I didn't want to hear/know that about you. I don't think you crossed it for me but it does leave me wondering just what you expected in the nether regions

The exotic Poiret might have been Joseph Fielding Smith's nemesis. He stripped dresses of the corset, petticoat, and the S curve silhouette.

That's obscene, Zee! They are wearing PANTS!

Oh, and one of the reasons Heavenly Father is mad at Athena? Because Athena is an advocate of haute-couture.

Even when you're 40 you might slip up. It's a natural instinct. The point is, the appropriate behavior is to look them in the eye.
It is not a question of staring when talking to her. It is a question of noticing her when she walks by. Young men have sex on the brain and it doesn't take much to elicit the imagination. There are plenty of styles out there that are modest and yet attractive. The feelings that should be elicited are attraction and not lust.
I intend to lay a foundation that will revolutionize the whole world. Joseph Smith We are “to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to provide for the widow, to dry up the tear of the orphan, to comfort the afflicted, whether in this church, or in any other, or in no church at all…” Joseph Smith

I realize subtlety eludes you, but maybe the point people are trying to make is that leering is something civilized men learn to control just as we learn not to pass gas whenever we feel like it. Furthermore it is the men's duty to control their thoughts, not the women's responsibility that some men ogle her.
.
Why wear those kind of clothes at all? Men and women need to wear clothes but they can be modest in nature. As I said to dark helmet there are plenty of nice styles out there where women can be attractive in their modesty. On campus, where young men have hormones running amok, it is best not to wear clothing that may give the young men lustful thoughts. In fact, the feelings that women should want to convey are admiration and attraction.

I agree. But there is a difference between sex appeal and lust.
