If I had written this, I would be immediately attacked mercilessly for thesaurus mongering, unnecessarily flowery prose and uses of "big words" that reek of condescension and intellectual snobbery.

All of this, however, rather papers over the naked fact that Jeremy is a liberal cultural Mormon intellectual who, like Joanna Brooks, is doctrinally and philosophically orbiting on the outer fringes of the gospel and Church. His is the church of the "big tent" while mine is that of the "straight and narrow" way, and hence, we don't get along philosophically. I sincerely hope he doesn't fully lose touch with the gravitational pull of the iron rod and the Brethren, while in that eccentric orbit).
