Because they had to use a hose line on the roof, gravity is going to take over with the water, and water is in the building just a little bit, it sounds like, and we have crews inside protecting the items with salvage tarps,” Salt Lake Fire Capt. Karl Steadman said.

Dude! Srsly? Who could have possibly imagined such strange circumstances where water somehow actually gets up on the roof of a building?

If they had any reasonable idea that this might have ever had a chance of happening, they could have applied, oh, I don't know, some sort of water-proofing material up there.

Once in a lifetime fluke, I tell ya.

Maybe we should ask Elder Dallin H. Oaks about this.

He's a bona fide expert in the characteristics of salamanders.

I've read it aeons ago. Are his words available somewhere? as far as I know was his talk at BYU fireside or something semi-official, wasn't it?

The LDS Church has removed any references to Elder Oaks' faith-promoting salamander speech. You'll have to go to an "anti-Mormon" site to read it. Like this:

Thank You.

^ This alone should convince you the Church Leaders are frauds.

The "Salamander Speech" was conscripted as it was, because the leaders know it's a farce.

Thank You - and thank that someone...

"Criticism is particularly objectionable when it is directed toward Church authorities, general or local. Jude condemns those who “speak evil of dignities” (Jude 1:8). Evil speaking of the Lord’s anointed is in a class by itself. It is one thing to depreciate a person who exercises corporate power or even government power. It is quite another thing to criticize or depreciate a person for the performance of an office to which he or she has been called of God. It does not matter that the criticism is true."
