He was a minor at the time -- why would it bug you? This is a hit piece. I expect all kinds of stories like this to be drug out during the campaign, but we never get real stories about Obama's youth. Maybe they should do a little more investigative reporting there. Does the fact Obama was doing drugs in high school and college bother you? Some drugs can cause permanent brain damage ...

I don't like Obama. But how does Obama's behavior excuse Mitt's? I understand kids do stupid things, and we grow older and mature, but Mitt's response is discouraging. He said "if anybody was hurt by that or offended, obviously I apologize for that." I have a knee jerk negative reaction to that type of apology. He also claims to not remember the incident, yet everyone else involved, including his minions, remember it vividly and are still bothered by it today. One of the witnesses to the assault ran into the victim at an airport decades later and apologized for not doing more to help. He never forgot the incident, yet it must not have been that big of a deal to Mitt. I wish he would have said something like, "I deeply regret my behavior in my youth. What I did was wrong. I believe I am better person today." Don't say you are sorry people are offended.

Well, its obvious from your participation here that you have no clue what bullying is, but this is just laughable.

Man, I'm on a roll with excellent jokes today.

I can question it for many things you do, I'm sure. There's far more than a few teen-age jerky things that people do in life that are an embarrassment.

Well at least by doing so he avoided killing anyone...

He would have had a heck of a time keeping his hair in order in that humidity too.

Do you consider it bullying to stand up to bullies?

That's called kicking against the pricks, which is a sin. Sin leads to apostacy, apostacy leads to posting on mormondiscussions.com, and people who post on this board are bullies. Therefore, standing up to bullies leads to bullying.

Which makes me question if we can believe the people (mostly Obama supporters) quoted in the article. And I understand the person supposedly involved is dead. I never said Obama's behavior excused Mitt's, but if we're going to go back to what people did in high school we need to go back on Obama's too. Of course I never did anything in high school that I regret doing. Grade school, yes, high school, no.
