An Open Invitation To the Denizens Of MD&D

Post by _Fence Sitter »

It seems quite clear most of you lurk over here frequently. Based on the many comments in the ongoing Dehlin threads a lot of you are unhappy with how he is being treated. There have been more than a few comments comparing this board to MD&D. I invite you to consider that we might not be all that different when it comes down to it, especially in view of these recent threads.

You will be welcome here and welcome to say what ever you want.
"Any over-ritualized religion since the dawn of time can make its priests say yes, we know, it is rotten, and hard luck, but just do as we say, keep at the ritual, stick it out, give us your money and you'll end up with the angels in heaven for evermore."

The chief difference is, it's really difficult to get banned here. There... not so much.
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

Well, to be fair, they will experience far more hostility and rancor. But come one come all, anyway.

Perhaps the bullying, backslapping, one-sidedness, anger, and such will dissipate. It won't happen, but one can dream.
Love ya tons,

I just came on line to see what was happening, and when I go to the MD&D board all I get is this message "This website is offline." Anyone else having problems visiting their site?

An Apostle took it down...
“We look to not only the spiritual but also the temporal, and we believe that a person who is impoverished temporally cannot blossom spiritually.”

Drifting, this was my first thought, but then I reconsidered and decided it was either Jesus or John.

Apostles work for both of those people...

Maybe this is a redux of what some suspected was happening during the B. David Mitchell trial. Maybe some of the people over there are afraid that the GAs will now be looking into the Mopologists' online activities, so they're scrambling to go back and delete posts.

Oh my goodness. (laughing to probably really bad form right now, but still... that's my first inclination)

Why, are you planning on leaving the forum again?

That's not a dis-invite, just curious.
