I suspect you're right. Whoever the apostle was who shut down the hit piece, I doubt he'll be happy with how Hamblin/Peterson/Schryver have reacted to his decision.

Let's hope no one's job is in jeapardy.
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

agreed, even though folks like DCP et al. are constantly attacking others I feel it best they get to retain their positions. in real life they are probably alright people.
If the church wants to play it smart, they should quietly shuffle DCP back to his field of study, put the MI into the hands of more credible apologists (like Gardner). Members who are questioning often very much WANT to believe. Many don't need much - some kindness and some thoughtful reasoning, without overt intellectual dishonesty. People like Gardner are more equipped to help struggling members than Peterson, and less likely to embarrass the church in an academic setting.

You will be welcome here and welcome to say what ever you want.
The chief difference is, it's really difficult to get banned here. There... not so much.
Yeah, Harmony my dear would never ban my ass. She loves me too much. Besides, if she did, I would appeal to Liz to rescue me.

Oh yes. They will mop and sweep out the various rooms. Cover their tracks. Hide the evidence!
