So...Temples are full of dishonest people...unworthily conducting ordinances on behalf of dead people...

According to how the Lord judges worthiness, yes.

That's weird, because BC Space and Droopy say only Conservative Republicans make good Mormons

No. I've only said that Democrats and other liberals aren't good Mormons.

bcspace, why do you maintain this ridiculous notion that good Mormons can't be democrats? It is so patently absurd and every time you say it I just *facepalm*. Being a Mormon has NOTHING to do with your political affiliations - period. Please stop stating things like this because it does no good what-so-ever.

There is something I don't understand.

THECHURCH is a worldwide one, isn't it?

What have to do - for example - a Hungarian member of the church with any parties called democrat - which word can mean anything? And, for example a Swahili member? And for example, an US member? And for example, any member?

- The Christian Democratic People's Party (Kereszténydemokrata Néppárt, KDNP) is a political party in Hungary.

- The Fidesz – Hungarian Civic Union (Hungarian pronunciation: [ˈfidɛs]; in full, Hungarian: Fidesz – Magyar Polgári Szövetség) is a major conservative party in Hungary. The party was founded in 1988, named simply Fidesz (Fiatal Demokraták Szövetsége, Alliance of Young Democrats), originally as a youthful libertarian, anti-communist party. (Today they are older than that...)

by the way At the 2010 election in Hungary, Fidesz-KDNP won a two-thirds majority of seats by gaining 52% of the votes - and use their power the same way as the wildest socialist leadership of the 50's.
With some difference, because they are conservative... For example, they constituted a Reformed Church minister (minister: One who is authorized to perform religious functions in a Christian church, especially a Protestant church) to a minister (minister: A high officer of state appointed to head an executive or administrative department of government)

Good luck getting him to listen. Many of us have been telling him that for years. BC has an idol, and it's name is political conservatism.

bcspace wrote:Who says HR has a current TR now? Is he active in Church?

He was active back when he gave his BYU devotional, a few years back; I'd be surprised if his activity in the Church has changed one iota. I don't know what his church calling is, but he has a home teaching route that he visits every month.

"Do you support, affiliate with, or agree with any group or individual whose teachings or practices are contrary to or oppose those accepted by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?"

Your view here is a bit extreme. The LDS Church has come out and explicitly said that the beliefs of the LDS Church are not incompatible with either of the two main political parties.

I really doubt both of these statements. They go entirely against the spirit of the devotional Harry Reid gave at BYU a few years back.
