Thanks, guys! Yes, the surgery is fairly non-invasive. It is called a Catheter Amblation. They go in through his inner thigh, so they don't have to open up his chest.

Apparently, they will admit him the night before the surgery, and then he will have it the following morning. Patients normally go home the same day.

It is actually a blessing that he had an episode that they could actually capture a record of. Every time he has had similar episodes, they have gone away before they could capture anything on an EKG. He even wore a heart halter for two weeks, and nothing showed up.
