Here's another cool fact... you continually dodge criticism while claiming others make fun of your religion. You're an imposter who can't acknowledge fact. I'll make fun of you just for being ignorant of the data you refuse to acknowledge.

J, I don't understand why you simply don't ignore the posts that you feel treat you poorly and respond to Chris, who offered a well thought out response and treated you with the respect you feel you deserve.

Simple. Unfortunately Josh is a hypocrite. I find his posts filled with as much venom as anyone else here. For some reason he doesn't seem to see it. He even directs it at people like Chris who has treated him so well and has been trying to engage him. He never had a real response he was working on and is using other peoples insults as an excuse to get out of a discussion he knows will not go well for him. I find his behavior shameful and dishonest. The only way he can redeem himself is to apologize to Chris, and then try to engage his arguments. He doesn't have any problem engaging all the non-substantive posts, so why is he ignoring the few substantive ones?

It's just like Sophocles has said: you tend to zero in on posts that allow you to avoid the issue and to take offense. Either that, or your posts turn into circular potifications ("What would it be like if I was prophet of the LDS Church?"), or reflections on your own views.
CaliforniaKid has given you a terrific opening here, and you've ignored it. My bet is that you haven't even read his article. Either that, or you didn't understand it. C'est la vie, Monsieur Potato-head. Your Yukon-Gold-eqsue dome seems incapable of absorbing and/or grappling with this sort of thing.

Look, I get you got in bed with Satan and decided to turn your time and talent to hate. I feel sorry for you. I feel sorry for the people who have to be around you. I am sure you are happily trying to destroy faith and families with your rhetoric. You are lost, and I feel sorry for you.

I thought Schryver and Gee were going to be publishing a paper on this scroll-length issue. Did it ever come out? If not, has anyone heard when it will be coming out?

The whole argument of the scroll length in defending the Book of Abraham is like talking about how much toilet paper is on your roll in the bathroom. I'm serious about that. Not trying to be funny at all. The scroll length is a dead issue as far as defending Book of Abraham truth claims. It's a distraction put out by the dishonest apologists, a bottomless rabbit hole, a red-dead fish, and a complete waste of time.
Just look at the Explanations of Facsimile No. 3 and you get the feeling that scroll length really doesn't matter. It just gives the faithful something to cling to while they avoid the real issues.
