Events of the last few weeks have resulted in Romney having Obama by the throat and the Romney campaign having done very little at all. It's almost as if Romney can just cruise to election as Obama's numbers melt away. But Obama, who cannot run on his record, surely will turn up the notch on nastiness. I predict that in desperation, Obama or some ally will attack Romney's Mormonism in a way and scale never seen before. Obama has to now.
