Pretty Angkookrat Warangnam beat hundreds of women to make it into the final of a modelling competition - and then shocked organisers by revealing she was born a man.

It seems that others are concerned about the female body too. Modesty in the work place. I think that the Mormons got it right. Of course, the woman in the story may have her 15 minutes of fame and a few extra bucks now when the lawsuit is settled.

Creepy why me continues to blame victims.

Modesty is a social construct. It varies from culture to culture and I am willing to bet that there are cultures that do not even have such a concept.

Holy flying farts, why me, did you even read the damn article you linked? She was fired for having large breasts. What the fark does that have to do with modesty? You just proved how backasswards Mormonism and other fundy religions are about the female body.

OH MY GOD! BOOBS!!!! Cover thine eyes!!!!!!

Women have breasts. Get the freak over it.

Well I was thinking about several indicators.

- How they talk about women (this is not visible, but I considered it outward).
- What attracts them to a women (not visible as well)
- How they touch the women they are around (visible)
- How much they talk about porn (not visible
- The percentage of the time they are walking around visibly aroused (kidding)

It generally becomes very obvious what single guys prioritize when it comes to women. I think it is alright to acknowledge that all guys (unless you're homo) are obsessed to some degree with the female body. But in terms of how the obsession affects what is said and done, I have to say that my non LDS circle is more obsessive than my LDS circle.

This is not convincing, quaker. I don't see how talking about women, being attracted to women, touching women, and talking about porn makes a person more obsessed with the female body than a person who does not do this in front of you. I would say it means they are more upfront and expressive than your Mormon friends are.

I concur. Suppressing ones desires and thoughts does not equate to being less obsessed. In fact, it can cause the opposite. The repressed person can spend a considerable amount of time trying to control the natural inclinations they have.

Another example would be someone like my dad who basically does not speak to women (in the work place) unless he needs to for work related purposes and has actually had women think he does not like them. Trying to 'avoid the appearance of evil' by not socializing with women does not mean you do not objectify women. I would argue that not socializing with women based on their gender would show a very strong objectification and obsession.

That is the weirdest comment. I'm not sure I even understand it.
