Was Jesus and his disciples called Mormons?

Did Nephi and his descendants have wards and stakes?

No, but LDS doctrine is the only doctrine that matches it.

Right.....

Current institutional church (LDS), looks very little like the 1st century christian church.

Some of us, on the other hand, actually prefer a religion that includes some type of correlation with reality.

Ok bc.... Please show where the early Christian church taught:
Eternal marriage
Temple worship as practiced by current LDS church
The organization of the church as now instituted in LDSdom
The division of higher and lower priesthood in the church
Tithing
The official passing of the priesthood to the apostles
The first presidency

I can keep going but I"ll let you respond. Biblically or in the writings of the early church fathers.

No, they were called Jews.

Yes, but the basketball courts weren't carpeted.

is your statement doctrine Bcspace? How can we know if what you say is pure b.s. or doctrine? I know, how about every time you tell us what doctrine is, you have an official statement from an LDS authority confirming that you represent the church and are qualified to represent it's "official doctrine". Oh, and please make certain that the LDS "authority" has authority as the authority for doctrine.

If not, lets just call any and everything you say as "opinion of men", fluff, b.s., hogwash, or whatever else that denotes trivial blathering.

At this point BC Space is just trolling. He isn't even trying anymore.

You may be right. I've already given this type of evidence many times before.

Ok I'll narrow it down to one item. Please show how the Mormon teachings on tithing are consistent with the New Testament and the writings of the early church fathers.
