I need to be subjected to some kind of aversion therapy. Like binding me hand and foot and having Droopy read the constitution out loud while simultaneously I'm being waterboarded by whyme and forced to listen to Schryver songs at 120 decibels (imagine a bad Tony Bennett impersonator singing Jim Nabors songs in a gay cowboy bar).
That blog already has seven followers! The movement is growing ... it already has RayAgostini and Deborah Peterson (no relation?) as members. Today, the Internet. Tomorrow, Provo!!

Hadn't noticed that.
Deborah is Daniel's wife. There's a photo of her and Dan in one of Schryver's posts. Maybe she likes the "rough and ready" misogynist kind. Some women do. They've been taught that no matter what happens, it was their fault. They should have been more obedient and it never would have happened in the first place.
Either that or Deborah is just being "nice" and promised Will she would "LIKE" his blog. She's just being charitable.

I guess one of my sins is not categorising people according to various group prejudices, but I genuinely do like Will and think he's very intelligent. That's not all we disagree on, by the way, but I like his blog too.

Oh, I don't categorize people according to various group prejudices either. It was Will's own behavior that helped me conclude that he is an intelligent, narcissistic charlatan. And, nah, I don't like him all that much. But it has nothing to do with the fact that he is LDS or an apologist. I have been known to get along with other people who are LDS apologists just fine. It's just that he is Will.

I know you are not trying to be mean to Mrs. DCP, but I think a good policy is not to talk about her at all.
Yup. Unless one enjoys the spectacle of seeing DCP come out in full righteous indignation mode about his family being 'stalked', which will doubtless now occur.
('To stalk": To point out in one part of the Internet that somebody has publicly affixed their name to some material elsewhere on the Internet, currently the topic of discussion. A very wicked act.)

Stak beat me to it. I know I would feel a little put off if people were remarking on which blogs Mr. Jack follows when he has nothing to do with Mormon-themed blogs or message boards.
That said, now I'm tempted to have him click "follow" on William's blog for the lulz.

I don't intend any offense against "Mrs. DCP" at all. She is probably not even aware of Schryver's well-earned reputation as one of the worst sexist/misogynist/vulgar mopologists on the interwebs. But if she did, I'm sure she would not be associating her name with his.
All the same, I apologize if it came across that I was "speaking ill" of her. I'm sure she is a fine woman, and she certainly deserves our respect for being able to live all these years with the "capo" of mopologetics.

See my post above.
It is interesting that Mrs. Schryver is not listed as a follower of her hubby's blog. I wonder why? I mean, DCP has met her and Will's daughter, and they didn't seem oppressed by a misogynist at all! That's proof enough for me.
