If Obama's photo was, say, photoshopped to make it look like he was engaging in illegal activity, would you still be singing the same tune?
No. Was the Facebook screenshot of DCP's SocialCam viewing photoshopped? If so, why did DCP effusively explain having clicked on the boner video?

As someone who has been the focus of unwanted attention on my personal life from LDS apologists and critics alike, I guess I am a little sensitive about the issue. I am sorry to disappoint the rest of you, but it smarts when I see other people subjected to this kind of treatment, even Daniel.

Going forward, please refrain from posting this. The actual discussion surrounding the issue I don't have a problem with, but Kish, you are correct. Posting the in real life image is against board rules.

Thank you for removing the images.

I appreciate your sensitivity, and the history. You've never come across as a 'public figure' like say Obama, nor an attention hound like DCP. Given that hundreds of millions access Facebook, and a much smaller number MDB, I am finding it difficult to think that DCP had any reasonable expectation of privacy, even as to the fact that he clicked on the boner video, at least not after Facebook decimated any such expectation.

I probably need to be punished for sporting Axl Rose as my avatar. He too might be an MDB registrant.

I think zeezrom might be Axl in real life.

I was using an example to help illustrate my point.

Just because a person is a public figure doesn't mean "all bets are off." If you wanted to post his photo ONLY, that would be one thing. But posting his photo with accompanying text that might be injurious to his employment, well, that's just not necessary.

There is precedent. I have, in the past, deleted some things, even things that were part of the public record, that could've had unfair repercussions against someone's employment or good name. And no, I'm NOT talking about DCP. In fact, I would unhesitatingly extend to you the same courtesy if someone were to post an image like that depicting you. The same goes for Spurven Ten Sing, too.

I do not know that Darth J does not exist in real life. (After all, some people really think there was a Moroni.) Darth J might exist, and might be registered here under an alias, one that you are exposing against the rule.

I have suspected for some time that both Barrack Obama and Axl Rose are board members.
