I appreciate your sensitivity, and the history. You've never come across as a 'public figure' like say Obama, nor an attention hound like DCP. Given that hundreds of millions access Facebook, and a much smaller number MDB, I am finding it difficult to think that DCP had any reasonable expectation of privacy, even as to the fact that he clicked on the boner video, at least not after Facebook decimated any such expectation.

My standard here is to imagine Daniel Peterson as a human being who has feelings just like I do. I don't really care whether he is a public figure or not. He is still a human being with feelings as far as I know.

There is precedent. I have, in the past, deleted some things, even things that were part of the public record, that could've had unfair repercussions against someone's employment or good name. And no, I'm NOT talking about DCP. In fact, I would unhesitatingly extend to you the same courtesy if someone were to post an image like that depicting you. The same goes for Spurven Ten Sing, too.

Just do what you got to do and the hell what everyone thinks. No need to explain every little action you take because there will always be someone who disagrees with your actions no matter what side you take. Just be the moderator and swing your axe when you get the urge. People need to get the hell out of the way when you do.

Doesn't this rule forbid any mention of DCP's naughty Facebook post? It appears that it is being arbitrarily interpreted to refer only to the image when the "in real life" information is the knowledge that DCP clicked on a naughty link. Doesn't that then mean that the board needs to be cleansed of any mention of DCP's socialcam fetish? And doesn't this show how absurd this rule is, at least in this case. Right?

He'd stick a blade in you first chance he got -- and when he is standing over the fiery pit while you scream in pain (see Book of Revelation) you will look up and see Dan shaking his head at you in shame.
