Look, Dan Peterson has made himself a public figure. His clicking on a video of a guy getting a boner while a woman gyrating her ass in front of him - is PUBLIC. If Dan didn't want anyone to see that, Dan wouldn't have created a Facebook account OR clicked on the goddamn link. It's called SOCIAL NETWORKING.

The pic and the story stay up on the MC and Dan and his job at BYU can “F” off.

I'm going to your site right now to look for the link.

You're 100% correct.

Second, you are greatly inflating the importance of this board in putting his employment at risk.

I grant you that possibility. But I'm thinking more along the lines of future Google search results.

DCP is friends on Facebook with the other people at BYU who might put his employment at risk so they have already seen his naughty video habits first hand.

Right again.

It is doubtful that anyone who posts or lurks here will put his employment at risk.

That's hard to argue against.

Third, the image you keep deleting is all over the DAMU. I've seen two or three threads on Facebook devoted to this and others on various other forums. Censoring here isn't going to make a difference.

You may be right. But you know what? This boils down to a "do unto others what you would have them do unto you" situation. I personally wouldn't like it if I made a mistake like that and had it plastered all over the web, so I'd be a hypocrite if I failed to do for someone else what I'd wish that he or she would do for me.

At the end of the day, yes, you may be correct on all counts, but in my heart of hearts I believe that eliminating the image is simply the right thing to do. Nothing more, nothing less.
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

I think your reasons sound pretty decent, Shades. What a bummer that SHIELDS, FAIR, and FARMS don't have the same kind of personal conscience that you have. I guess this is what sets you apart.

I also wouldn't want a mistake like that plastered all over the web. That is a good reason for you to refrain from posting it everywhere, but I think you are taking it too far by removing others' posts.

Well, it's your board so you can do what you want.

Thanks! :-)

I agree.

I guess this is what sets you apart.

My fingers are crossed. :-)

Hmm. In that case, maybe I can meet you halfway on this. So, to that effect:

[MODERATOR NOTE: If anyone hasn't seen the image in question that I have deleted several times in this and other recent threads, send a private message to either Spurven Ten Sing or Infymus and those posters can e-mail it to you.]

Those who want the screen cap public always have 4chan, meme generators, and DCP wikipedia page. So it is not that this board is the end all for posting it......

Yeah, had it been me, no one would have batted an eye. Set yourself up as a light unto the world, you better live accordingly.

I also wanted to say, "Spurven, don't leave over this dude, this crap will all blow over, just like everything else always does".

If Spurven has been B&, how will he reply to PMs?
