Here is an ancient cave drawing depicting the most famous Christian holiday. Notice the Lamanites trying to kill Santa, just as the Liberals are trying to kill Christmas today.

Ether 9:19 says: "And they also had horses, and asses, and there were elephants and cureloms and cumoms; all of which were useful unto man, and more especially the elephants and cureloms and cumoms."

This is from the Jones Hole area. I think that it's a curelom being chased by a cumom. Along with the elephants, they were apparently even more useful than horses.

In doing so, I think I’ve found evidence of the historiography of the Book of Mormon. I believe the following to be a representation of Nephi holding Laban’s severed head. The Sword of Laban is on his back.

Here is some compelling evidence for the Book of Mormon that someone posted on Facebook in the last couple of days.

Person on Facebook wrote: Remarkable Book of Mormon Evidence-3,200-year-old Gold Plate

In case you missed seeing the news about this amazing evidence for the Book of Mormon, we want to show it to you. Featured on ABC news and Yahoo.com is a gold plate with inscriptions that date to roughly 600 years before Nephi wrote his sacred record on nearly identical gold plates.

Those who have belittled the idea of Joseph Smith's "golden book," now have a lot of explaining to do.

This ancient Assyrian golden tablet is a thin sheet of gold with Assyriac characters. The Book of Mormon was written on larger gold sheets that also included Assyriac characters (Joseph Smith-History 1:64).

Yes indeed, the burden of proof has now shifted to those who are skeptical that a vast Hebrew civilization with a complicated political structure, advanced metallurgy, and a preternatural knowledge of what the King James Bible says, existed for 1,000 years in pre-Columbian America. So stunned am I by this compelling evidence that I cannot even think of any questions to ask.

Like how would Joseph Smith have been able to determine whether there were Assyriac characters on anything, golden plates or otherwise?

Or how a thin sheet of gold that can fit in the palm of your hand from Assyria circa 1200 BCE has any relationship whatsoever to a purported large, heavy compilation of golden plates from circa 421 CE America?

Or why we have no corresponding evidence for a Nephite civilization that would have made the golden plates, whereas nobody disputes the existence of the Assyrian civilization that made this palm-of-your-hand-sized sheet?

Truly, this single, tiny sheet of gold from 3,200 years ago in Assyria is strong evidence of the Voree Plates.

Whoops! I mean the Book of Mormon.

This is an amazing discovery, Darth.

I believe this explains what happened to the lost gold plates. They weren't taken into heaven by an angel. Joseph wrapped his gum in them and accidentally threw them away.

Perhaps the Nephites were very, very small. Which would explain many of the problems with absent archaeology.

I think this is a cogent theory that has substantial explanatory power. We should call it "Joseph O'Smith and the Nephi People."
