Compare the lack of time-line in Ether with the obsession with the passage of time in Mormon. That alone indicates that Ether is the older text. By maybe a year.

I don't know. One is more methodical and planned out. The other is thrown together but with a little more daring. It doesn't tell me which came first.

The key to the entire Book of Mormon is in Ether. In there are the mysteries, which the Jaredites passed on to the Nephites, the Nephites took credit for, and then betrayed the Jaredites over. It is a tragic tale, really.

I wanted to beat my old record on the hill climb on my home commute but I was laughing most of the way. I kept seeing bees and they made me think of sitting in a wooden vessel with bees for four months. Why did this bee thing never strike me before, I wonder.

Nope, holes for air but no trap door for pooh.

But if the hole in the bottom is for discarding things, wouldn't it be much simpler, sounder.....seaworthy, to put the hatch in the side of the scow, above waterline?
This feels more like an apologetic to attempt to abandon what we were all brought up on.....flip ships.
