Perhaps you should have asked him (afterward) how well anyone knows Jesus. I have the same reaction when someone tries to explain 'God's plan' to me. I usually assume they have no idea (how could they?) and are just making stuff up.
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

I realize I am at a disadvantage in trying to understand the theological language of other faiths, but I think what he meant by "how well they know Jesus" is "how well they believe in Jesus the same way I believe in Jesus." (I hope that doesn't come across as harsh.)

As to God's plan, it just may be "the information's unavailable to the mortal man."

There is no bling to it. It is made out of darkish potmetal, reminiscient of a 70's peace sign, and hung from a strip of leather.

I keep feeling like breaking into a chorus of I Think I Love You.

Doctor Scratch, you obviously are referring to Daniel Peterson in this thread about this pastor, which shows your seething hatred for Daniel Peterson.

Stop hating Mormonism and defaming Daniel Peterson this instant!

Your party will end very soon.

Consiglieri, if it was malicious then why worry about it. If there was some message attached then chalk it up to one of the great mysteries of the Universe or ask the Pastor what he meant.

Could be the famed cross of Arcosanti. Legend has it, that it doubles as a wind chime.
