Anybody want to hazzard a guess on DCP's age?

I won't believe these until they are substantiated. This thread seems like rumormonging at its best.

Well, if someone faked them, they did a bang-up job. I am sure Scratch will take them down, as he has promised to do, if he gets such a request, or if it is discovered that they are fakes.
That DCP letter looks like the real deal to me.
The whole thing is surreal. I have been having a difficult time focusing on anything since this emerged.

Around 60.
Whatever appears to be against the Book of Mormon is going to be overturned at some time in the future. So we can be pretty open minded.-charity 3/7/07

Exactly Kish. That DCP letter, if it is a fake, is something written by a forgery master.
All I can say is that Scratch's informant gave him this information and we already know beyond a shadow a doubt that he does in fact have an informant. Remember, this is the same guy who told us about Schryver's article being pulled, along with names of those involved.
I think even Scratch was suspicious about this latest claim, however. He asked me if I would probe further with my sources and I did. When I mentioned this rumor to my source he responded as if surprised, asking "WHO TOLD YOU THAT?" Without directly confirming the rumor, he said, "I will tell you this... there is a small group of scholars who are wanting the NAMIR to take a different direction. And there will be some changes."
That's all he said on that rumor, but it seemed to confirm that Scratch's informant was privy to true information.
Also, Dan's response was just as childish as his response was to the Ritner fiasco. This guy is always going to play the victim and he will never admit wrongdoing no matter how many of his own try to pound sense into him. He had no worries about having Ritner's prestigious career tarnished through his repeated false rumors about him, so I'm inclined to have little to no sympathy for Dan on this issue.
Besides, it isn't like he's being fired from BYU or anything. He will probably consider this a blessing in disguise in a few months once he realizes how much more time he has to go on outings with Schryver.

You should trust Dr. Scratch. he knows what he is doing.

Is it likely that M. Gerald Bradford doesn't know his "effect" from his "affect"?

That's a common error. English spelling is a bunch of BS, anyways.

There are people capable of such among the apologetic set, but I just am not seeing it.

Well, live and learn. The Review's been a great resource but is probably too hot. Shouldn't been at BYU.
